Ontonagon seniors Jake Witt, Micah Blake and Jaden Weisinger, Tanner Balcomb and James Domitrovich were named to the Western Eight All-Conference team on Friday. 

The WEC special awards were also announced with two Ontonagon players receiving awards. Witt was named Offensive Lineman of the Year and Domitrovich, along with senior Bryce Hornick of Stephenson, was named Defensive Lineman of the Year. Junior Montell Glover of Stephenson received Offensive Back of the Year Honors and senior Lucas Dombrowski of North Central was tabbed for Defensive Back of the Year. Superior Central’s Kyle Hemminger was given the Sportsmanship Award and Rapid River’s Steve Ostrenga was named Coach of the Year.
