The Copper Mountain All-Conference awards were announced Friday with senior Laura Lyons of Lake Linden-Hubbell taking home MVP honors and her teammate, sophomore Joslynn Perala receiving Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Lyons and Perala were also named to the Elite Team along with senior teammate Erin Seppala, Chassell senior Milly Allen, Bessemer senior Caitlyn Lynch and Wakefield-Marenisco senior Ebanie Delich. 

The Copper Country Division first team consists of Lyons, Perala, Seppala and senior Maija Codere from LL-H and seniors Milly Allen and Sophia Mahta of Chassell. 

The Porcupine Mountain Division first team is made up of Delich, senior Saundra Libertoski and junior Abby Ahoren, all from Wakefield Marenisco, seniors Caitlin Lynch and Megan Peterson from Bessemer, senior Bethany Baldwin from Watersmeet and Elise Besonen from  Ewen Trout Creek. 

LL-H junior Mariah Willmer, Dollar Bay seniors Paige Isaacson and Natalie Maxson, senior Sydney Danison from Chassell and Baraga senior Andrea Chagnon received second team honors in the Copper Country Division. 

Seniors Kelsey Kitto and Madisen Jacobson from Bessemer, senior Rebecca Caron from Watersmeet, senior Maddy Cronkright from Ewen Trout Creek, senior Cleo Allen from Ontonagon and Alexa Jilek from Wakefield-Marenisco were all part of the Porcupine Mountain division second team.
