The MHSAA football playoff pairings were released Sunday on Fox Sports Detroit-Plus.

Division 5

The Hancock Bulldogs (7-2) travel to face the Menominee Maroons (6-3). Menominee’s Facebook page announced the game would take place Saturday at 2 p.m. EDT, but neither athletic director from either school has yet to officially confirm.

The Kingsford Flivvers (7-1) host the Gladstone Braves (7-2) in the other District 1 semifinal.

Division 6

The Calumet Copper Kings (6-3) will play at the Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators (8-1) on what will likely be Saturday. TCSF was ranked No. 1 in the state throughout the season in Division 7 before a 19-13 Week 9 loss to the Boyne City Ramblers (9-0). Boyne welcomes the Maple City Glen Lake Lakers (6-2) in the other District 1 semifinal.

Division 8

The Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes (4-4) hit the road to face the reigning West-PAC champions, the West Iron County Wykons (8-1). LL-H, WIC will play Friday at 7 p.m. EDT. WIC has won eight consecutive games.

The LL-H/WIC winner will face the victor between the Norway Knights (8-1) and Bark River-Harris Broncos (5-4).

Eight-Person Division 1

The Ontonagon Gladiators (5-3) face the Stephenson Eagles (7-2) in a rematch of Stephenson’s 56-14 win in Week 6. Similar to the first matchup, this one is also at Stephenson.

The other district semifinal includes the Cedarville Trojans (7-2) and Rudyard Bulldogs (7-1).
