Auto Pro cruises to win in women’s fastpitch softball

LAKE LINDEN — Auto Pro started hitting from the get-go Monday night against Mattila Rock and Dock and never stopped in registering an 18-0 mercy rule win.

The victors put four runs across in the first inning against Diane Mattila as Taylor Shepeard and Kenzie Brunet had key singles.

Fourteen more runs crossed in the second inning for the Lake Linden squad.

Brunet homered in the big inning, while Shepeard chipped in a double.

Shepeard, Brunet and winning pitcher Sarah counted two hits each for Auto Pro.

Audette gave up no hits and struck out two hitters.

Diane Mattila was the losing hurler.
