LAKE LINDEN — If manager Joel Rastello had concerns about his Calumet Copper Kings softball team, they were few and far between Thursday as the Copper Kings varsity and junior varsity teams earned a sweep over the Jeffers Jets, 15-0 and 21-1, respectively at the Boneyard in Lake Linden Thursday.

In the third inning, Calumet’s offense was kickstarted by Megan Peterson, who walked, stole second and third before scoring on a single from Johnson. Keranen scored on a single from Illa Goulette. Jana Loukus knocked Johnson and Goulette home.
