SOUTH RANGE — Riding a six-run inning to break the offense open, Pat’s Foods earned a win in Portage Lake Little League Minors playoff action, 13-9, over Houghton Rotary.

Pat’s got that big lead early thanks in part to a triple from Fynn Pennala and a double by Lucas Mayra.

Pennala, Mayra and Cole Seppala all helped drive the offense with two hits each over the course of the game.

On the mound for Pat’s Tyler Isaazson, Nolan Hanner and Seppala combined to rack up 13 strikeouts.

Tevin Stukel led the way for Houghton with a double and three singles on the night.
