IRON MOUNTAIN — Kingsford peppered Hancock’s net all night for a 5-2 win on Tuesday.

The Flivvers (8-7) scored twice each in the first and third periods. Kingsford had 42 total shots. The Bulldogs (4-9) managed 28 shots on net.

Kingsford took a 2-0 lead in the first before Austin Salani cut the lead in half three minutes into the second period. His goal was assisted by Mason Mikesch and Colton Salani.

The Flivvers responded later in the period to make it 3-1. They added another goal just past the midway point of the third to make it 4-1. Colton Salani scored Hancock’s last goal nearly 13 minutes into the period, with assists from Austin Salani and Chad Nordstrom.

Hancock hosts Negaunee on Thursday.

Kingsford visits Marquette on Jan. 21.
