The Keweenaw Volleyball Club is a local youth volleyball club serving players ages 10-18 from across the Keweenaw region. 

The club’s aim to improve volleyball skills, expose local players to high-level volleyball teams from across the Midwest, and build a sense of empowerment and teamwork in a positive, supportive, fun, and respectful setting. 

Volleyball is a lifetime sport and we aim to develop volleyball skills for a lifetime, support the development of volleyball programs in the area, and empower young people to be leaders.

The club encourages players to be competitive, while also supporting teammates, and speaking up for what they need to succeed. All of their programs follow the JVA club training curriculum and the competition teams compete in JVA-sponsored tournaments in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Register online today to try out for the club’s travel teams. Tryouts start Nov. 10 and 17 for ages 14 and under (will still be age 14 or under on July 1, 2025) and on Dec. 7 and 8 for ages 15 and 16 (view age requirements). 

Tryouts are free and there is no commitment. It is required that you register online prior to your tryout date.

Younger teams practice on Sunday afternoons. Older teams practice Sunday afternoons or evenings and one weekday evening (often Wednesdays).

The club encourages players to also participate in other sports and they can almost always work around other schedules.
