Shottle Bop wins Wisconsin Guts Championship

NEENAH, Wis. — Team Shottle Bop from Hancock won the 2025 Wisconsin Guts Frisbee Championship held in Neenah, Wisconsin, on June 7-8.
This was a three-peat victory for Shottle Bop at the Wisconsin Guts Championship. Shottle Bop consists of the following players: William Blau, Kyle Suvanto, Gabe Coppo, Justin Dudenas, Alex Nettell, and Carter Nettell.
There were 13 teams competing over the weekend, which is a record set for the Wisconsin Tournament.
Shottle Bop was undefeated after Day 1 and the No. 4 seed. Early Sunday, they lost to UP Hardwoods (Marquette) in bracket play and got knocked to the losers bracket.
Shottle Bop went on to win three consecutive do-or-die elimination games versus Monte Carlo (Hancock), Colden’s Kids (Appleton, Wisconsin), and Wolf Pack (Marquette) to punch a ticket to the finals.
In a best two-out-of-three finals match, and a rematch from earlier that day, Shottle Bop defeated team U.P. Hardwoods in three highly competitive games.
