SOUTH RANGE — In Portage Lake Little League majors action on Tuesday Superior Events swung past Keweenaw Chevy 12-5. It was a game in which they scored at least one run in every inning. This included two in the first, one in the second and another tally in the third to make it a 4-1 game after three.

However, Keweenaw Chevy tallied four in the bottom of the third to take a brief lead. Swinging a big bat that inning were Drea Durocher and Dirks Randell who smacked back-to-back doubles. They both scored on singles by Lewis Kilpela and Reid Kangas. The Keweenaw nine now led 5-4.

It was short lived though as Superior Events countered with four of their own in the top of the fourth and never looked back. An 8-5 lead morphed into an eventual 12-5 victory for the team in gray.

Starting at $3.50/week.
