Worthwhile to vote for

To the editor:

On August 2 voters in the First Congressional District have the opportunity to elect a representative who will be there because he wants to serve the people and not tell them how to run their lives. This would be Lt. Gen. Jack Bergman.

I had concerns about Tom Casperson and Jason Allen. In my opinion they both have made controversial votes and are career politicians. While they both state they are conservatives, they are liberal.

Therefore, I was so pleased when I met and learned about Jack Bergman. Now there was someone worthwhile to vote for. He is a true conservative, qualified, honest, personable, and committed to serving others. He has started two businesses, was a commercial airline pilot, and served as a three-star Marine general.

Jack knows how to get the job done. Let’s give him the chance.
