HANCOCK -- It was almost an all winning night for Finlandia University basketball teams Monday.
The Lions' women's team continued their recent surge with a win over Bay College, but the men's team fell in overtime to the Norse.

Katie Lundeen worked through second half foul trouble and led her team to its seventh win of the season.
Lundeen tallied 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Lions won for the seventh time in its last nine outings.
"I was pleased with certain parts of our game," Lions coach Mariah LaPointe-Dunham said. "We missed some big free throws but we finally got the ball inside to Katie (Lundeen) and she carried us through."
The visiting Norse had sliced a double-digit Lions lead down to 49-47 late in the game before Harlee Froberg nailed a big three-pointer to give the locals some breathing room at 52-47. And when Lundeen popped in two short shots, the issue was decided.
"A big shot by Harlee (Froberg) at that stage of the game," LaPointe-Dunham said. "We made some big plays late."
The Lions will now prepare for tournament play on Friday at Alfred (N.Y.) University.
"We haven't won too often on the road this season," LaPointe-Dunham said. "I hoping we can have a carry-over from late in the season over there."
Mariah Austin backed up Lundeen with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Taylor Pertile (Hancock) added nine points and four steals. Haley Makela of Jeffers, the lone senior on the roster, had three points and four rebounds.
Bay College, which fell to 20-7 on the season, was led by Keshia Davis with 18 points.

The Lions let a late lead slip away, but senior center Austin Carlson tried his best in his final game in a Finlandia uniform.
Carlson scored a game-best 22 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked seven shots.
"Austin Carlson played a very strong game," Lions coach Mike O'Donnell said. "And I thought we played a solid 38 minutes .... but it wasn't to be."
Leading by a basket with six seconds left to play, Finlandia saw Bay College's Fields hit a shot to send the game to overtime.
"We played the shot nearly perfect," O'Donnell said. "But he (Fields) took his time and hit it."
Backing up Carlson were Dylan Underwood with 20 points, Deshields-Beard notched 18 and Joe Heinonen hit 17 more.
Fields had 25 for the winners and Willets put in 18 more.
