HOUGHTON — While there are special elections scheduled throughout state of Michigan Tuesday, locally only voters in the Village of Lake Linden and in Lake Linden-Hubbell School District will be going to the polls. In Lake Linden Village, residents are being asked to renew a total levy of 1.75 mills ($1.75 per $1,000) subject to applicable Headlee millage rollbacks on taxable value property within the Village of Lake Linden for an additional Five years, beginning with the 2025 tax year.
