Vincent Morin

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Vincent Tyler Morin on April 23, 2025, a devoted soldier, father, and friend. Please join us Saturday, June 7, for a visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection Parish in Hancock, followed immediately by a memorial mass with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. A interment service with Military Honors conducted by the Copper Country Veterans Association will be held in the Veterans Section at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock afterwards. The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is in charge of the arrangements.

Toby Hoffman

CALUMET — Toby John Hoffman, 75, residing in Calumet, passed away at his residence on Dec. 2, 2024. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock, Veteran Section. The Copper Country Veterans Association will be assisting with the service. The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is assisting with his arrangements.

CHASSELL — James Howard Witting, 82, of Chassell, passed away at Garden View Assisted Living Facility in Calumet on Monday, March 3, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Section 11 of Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock with military honors conducted by the Copper Country Veterans Association. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to Little Brothers~Friends of the Elderly or to Saint Vincent DePaul in Hancock. NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Sandra L. Patana, 83, a former Copper Country resident, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Gulf Side Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida, following a lengthy illness. The Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service - Hancock Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements, which will be announced at a later time.
