HOUGHTON — Rita Mae Cox of Houghton, Michigan passed away on September 10, 2024 at Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell, Michigan. Rita was born on October 18, 1961 in Pontiac, Michigan to Ronald Ray Coombs and Cecelia Mae Coombs (Swindell). Rita graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in Waterford, Michigan. Rita loved to do crafts, play with her grandchildren, and go bowling. She also enjoyed bingo, playing darts and listening to country western music.
