IRON MOUNTAIN — Walter W Anderson, 91, of Lake Linden, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain. He was born April 18, 1930, in Hancock, son of the late Arvid and Ida (Saviluoto) Anderson. Walter grew up and attended school in Hancock. After his education, he proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Walter returned back to Hancock and married Mary Ann Bonini on January 5, 1951. HANCOCK — Raymond N. Aho passed away on November 9, 2021 at, Canal View Nursing Home in Hancock. He was born on October 14, 1932, to Matt V. Aho and Annie V. Aho. Ray grew up in Calumet. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army Service and served during the Korean War. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation in Detroit and retired after a career of many years.
