Louis G. DePuydt was born in Detroit to Norbert C (Bud) and Mary Suzanne (Ouellette) DePuydt on Nov. 25, 1960, and passed away Sept. 21, 2025, in Marquette. He was the youngest of seven children. He was a 1979 graduate of Jeffers High School in Painesdale. He worked as a carpenter for DePuydt Construction for a handful of years. Louie was also an avid hockey and football fan, loved playing cribbage, fishing and snowmobiling.
