Jean Kathleen Lange, 88, of Hancock, died on July 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Mercy Health and Rehabilitation in Hubbell. She was born on Aug. 3, 1936, in Hancock, the daughter of the late Fabian and Catherine (nee Gates) Chagnon. Jean graduated from Hancock High School in 1954. She married Edmund R. Lange on January 10, 1960. As a military family they were stationed in Germany, California, Colorado, Virginia and Maryland.
