HOUGHTON — The Alfred Erickson American Legion Post 186 Auxiliary will be distributing poppies from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Houghton Walmart. All proceeds will be donated to veterans’ health care needs. The post thanks the community “as together we honor the fallen and support the living,” organizers said.
