HANCOCK — A Veterans’ Health Fair will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Alfred Erickson American Legion Post 186 in Hancock.

Blood pressure/vital sign screening, blood sugar/weight screening, Med Minder set up, primary care recommendations, nursing education and assistance with VA paperwork will be offered. Volunteer nurses will provide the screening. Houghton County Veterans’ Service Officer and a Social Worker from Portage Home Health and Hospice will be available.

No appointment is necessary and the screening is free to all veterans. For more information, email lorik@up.net.
