Paramedics treat a bicyclist hit by a vehicle on Townsend Drive and Hubbell Street at Michigan Technological University Tuesday night. About 5:45 p.m., the bicyclist rode into traffic, encountering two vehicles, one of which hit him, said Lt. Marc Geborkoff of MTU Public Safety. Mercy EMS transported the victim to UP Health System -- Portage, where he was treated and released. The driver was not cited.
