PORTAGE TOWWNSHIP — Two people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Erickson Drive and M-26.

Houghton County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Dan Kowalski said a dark blue sedan drove away from Erickson Drive and into the path of a southbound pickup truck. The driver of the car and a passenger were injured in the crash, one seriously.

The driver of the truck was not seriously injured, according Kowalski.
