Second vehicle in two weeks stolen in Lake Linden

Photo courtesy of autoblog.com A 2001 Lincoln Town Car was stolen from Lake Linden on Monday night or Tuesday morning, make that the second vehicle stolen from the village in two weeks.
LAKE LINDEN — The Lake Linden Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle from the village. The Police Dept. said the theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The vehicle is a burgundy-colored, 2001 four-door Lincoln Town Car with Michigan license plate EMB-8852. Some minor front-end/driver’s side damage was reported, the police statement said. The key was left in the vehicle, which was very low on gas.
This is the second auto theft to occur in the village this month. On Dec. 5, the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office reported the theft of a 2006, silver and black, 2006 Ford Focus from Second Street.
