IRONWOOD — Michigan State Police Wakefield Post troopers are investigating a runaway complaint that was reported on July 4, 2026.

Melody Rose Leanne Jiyres was reported missing by her parents. They reported that she was last seen about 5:30 p.m. at their residence in Ironwood.

Melody is described as 5-foot-4, 160 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, wearing glasses and red orthodontic braces. She left without any money, phone, transportation or resources. Preliminary investigation indicates that she may be going to the Reedsburg, Wisconsin, area.
