COPPER HARBOR — The Kilpela Family hosted the Keweenaw Lions Club aboard the Isle Royale Queen IV on Sunday for a wonderful cruise out of Copper Harbor.

79 passengers were treated to calm waters, warm breezes and a close-up view of the American Mariner freighter. Captain Craig Funkey and crew expertly navigated the Queen to the joy of those onboard.

The cruise was a fundraiser for the Lions Club, benefiting charities in our local communities. The Lions Club wishes to thank the Kilpelas for their generosity in creating this opportunity to help others and for giving their passengers a memorable afternoon on Lake Superior.

Also, the Lions give thanks to the generous contributors and ticket purchasers who made this fundraiser a success.

Starting at $3.50/week.
