COPPER COUNTRY — The Copper Country Community Band is in full swing as they prepare for their summer concert series. The CCCB is 40 community musicians strong and under the direction of Micah Erickson (LLHS) and Amy Johnson (DBTC). They will be performing for various venues throughout the Keweenaw. Their performance schedule for the 2026 summer season is listed below. All concerts will start promptly at 7 p.m. unless indicated otherwise.

• Thursday, June 25, Daniell Park (Laurium)

• Monday, July 6, Keweenaw Heritage Foundation Center (Calumet)

• Wednesday, July 15, Calumet Theatre (7:30 p.m.)

• Wednesday, July 29, Chassell Farmers Market

• Thursday, August 20, Lake Linden Park
