Work of Boyer in Italian show

DOWNSTATE NEW YORK – Former Houghton resident Chevalier Daniel C. Boyer will have a drawing included in a group art show in Italy. “Self-Portrait with Disturbing Forms on Either Side,” which is done with watercolour pencils and Crayola® Twistables® coloured pencils on printmaking paper and is subject to the restriction that it is to be associated with things prior to 2019 only, will be displayed as part of “Self-Portrait” at Midac Museum, in Belforte del Chienti, Macerata, from Sept. 12 through Nov. 15.

Watercolour pencils, as a medium, can be used in two basic different ways. When drawn with dry, and on a dry surface, they act more like coloured pencils, but when used with wetted tips, or on a pre-wet surface, their behaviour is more like that of watercolour paints.

Starting at $3.50/week.
