COPPER HARBOR -- Those going to Copper Harbor this weekend for Art in the Park, will also have a chance to celebrate the art of books
Grandpa's Barn book store will host a variety of regional authors for book signings during Copper Harbor's annual Art in the Park this weekend.
Visitors and locals alike are invited to sit on the porch and chat with some of your favorite Upper Peninsula authors to find out the story behind their books and what new projects they have for the future.
A variety of genres will be represented - children's, mysteries, humor, memoir and history to name a few, so there will be something for everyone.
Each author will be ready with pen in hand to sign your book, and books will be available for sale during the event. The authors schedule is as follows
Saturday’s authors include Paul LaVanway, Chris Mazza, Nancy Besonen, Terri Martin, Elosie Corvo, Madyson Evans, Matt Hellman, Aimee Bissonette, Cindy Pesek, Thomas Pelissero, Amana Wais and Erica Vye.
On Sunday, authors Kath Usitala, Joseph Heywood, Tom Oliver, Laura Smyth, Maria Vesetti Matson, Lesley DuTemple, Tom Blessing, Larry Lankton, Stephanie Carpenter, Kathy Johnson and Buzz Johnson, will be greeting readers and signing copies of their books.
