ThermoAnalytics announces promotion of Bobbi Wood to President, COO

HOUGHTON — ThermoAnalytics, Inc. (TAI), a leader in advanced thermal, fluid-flow, and infrared modeling software, announced the promotion of Bobbi Wood, age 53, to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, effective Aug. 24. She has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2019.

Keith Johnson continues to lead the Company as its Chief Executive Officer.

“I am thrilled to have Bobbi assume this new role,” said Keith Johnson. “As Chief Operating Officer, she has demonstrated outstanding leadership and superb business judgment, and she has been a major contributor to our growth and success over the last 24 years. We are confident her operational background and business experience strongly positions her to help lead the next phase of the Company’s growth and success.”

Wood holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. For the past 13 years, she has led the Engineering Services Team at TAI as its Director/Manger. Wood was one of the original employees when ThermoAnalytics was founded. She was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in January 2019.
