Area schools compete in HSB

Bessemer played Lake Linden-Hubbell recently in High School Bowl and won by a score of 190-170. Thirty-six schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 47 years on the air. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. It is also available statewide on the Michigan Learning Channel.
