HANCOCK — On August 13, the Copper Country 100 Women Who Care held its second giving meeting, where women came together to support 31 Backpacks with anticipated donations of $5,300

Three charities were presented at the meeting with 31 Backpacks selected as the recipient.

Copper Country 100 Women Who Care is part of a nationwide philanthropic movement that brings together women committed to making a direct and meaningful impact in their communities.

The selected nonprofit receives all funds, creating an immediate impact in the Copper Country community.

The next giving meeting will be held on November 12th at The Lodge Luxury Suites, Hancock, starting at 6:30 p.m. followed by a social with appetizers and refreshments.

Women of all backgrounds and ages wanting to join a collective effort to strengthen the Copper Country community are encouraged to join. For additional details or to join, visit https://coppercountry100womenwhocare.org/ or contact cc100womenwhocare
