From the Ground
Calumet Farmer’s Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Several great producers and artisans will be on hand including North Harvest CSA, Boersma Family Roots, Ghost House Farms and many, more.
Pasty Bake off, noon – 2 p.m.
Purchase a kit of 4 oz. pasties, one from each of our commercial vendors and vote for your favorite. Pasties will be individually marked, each with a different style of toothpick. You will return to the sales booth the tooth pick from the pasty you thought was best! We will only have 100 “kits” available so get to the Bake-Off Booth quick, next to the Keweenaw National Historic Park Visitors Center.
Horseshoe Tournament
Agassiz Park (4th Street, Calumet). Sign up at 11 a.m. with the tournament to begin around noon. $10 per person, to be played in partners. Any questions contact George Siira, 337-2375
Pasty Pull, 1 p.m.
The Queen of Pastyland, calls forth gallant knights to test their mettle in a most glorious feat-- the pulling of a mighty burden! Step forth, ye champions, and prove thy worth in this noble quest for honor and renown. In other words contestants will test their strength by pulling a vehicle down 5th Street.
Costume Contest, 2 p.m.
Dress up in your best Renaissance garb for a chance at festival greatness! Event to be conducted at the Main Stage, no sign up necessary!

Cool Cars from Near and Far
The Car Show will be held from noon – 4 p.m. in 100 and 200 Blocks of 5th Street. All proceeds from this car show will benefit The Keweenaw Heritage Center at St. Anne's. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. $10 per-car on morning of show. Please enter car show area via Red Jacket Road, registration booth will be located just beyond the street closure barricades at Wedge St.

Pasty Fest drop-in Programing 10 a.m.-.5 p.m. Calumet Visitor Center
Ongoing interactive pasty related activities at the Calumet Visitor Center,
A-Tisket, A-Tasket, A-Paste-e, A-Pasty Walking tour, 11 a.m. at the Calumet Visitor Center. Explore immigration and the role the food has played while you discover your own connections on this short walk around downtown Calumet. This program will cover about half a mile and is free and open to the public.
Pasties in the Past: Traditional Food, Heritage, and Home illustrated talk, 4 p.m. Calumet Visitor Center, third floor. Learn about pasties as reported by historic newspapers, magazines, and picture postcards. Share your stories about traditional foods and their connections to heritage and home.
