BESSEMER — The continued over the weekend for man in Gogebic County missing since Friday. The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department is heading the search for 91-year old Frank Wilson. Police say Wilson suffers from dementia and is believed to have left his home in Ironwood Township early Friday morning, taking the family vehicle.

Sheriff’s deputies don’t believe he has strayed too far from home, but have been unable to locate him. As of Sunday afternoon, Wilson had not be located. Police said Wilson is believed to have been driving a 2014 blue/gray Chevy Equinox, with Michigan license plate ELP054. Local campgrounds, boat launches, and other points of interest in Gogebic and Iron County, WI have been or are in the process of being searched.
