Ready, Set … Shop!
Buy Nearby this weekend

HANCOCK — The City of Hancock is urging residents and visitors alike to shop and support Hancock retailers and restaurants with the “Buy Nearby” in downtown Hancock today through Sunday.
According to a press release from Todd Gast, Community Development with the City of Hancock, “This is a great opportunity to get a jump on your holiday shopping and support the City of Hancock’s downtown retail businesses and restaurants. Some businesses will be running special promotions, such as 25% off books at Sunflower Books & Coffee and Gino’s Restaurant’s Patio/Deck Grand Re-opening during Plaidurday, (today) with a cornhole tourney.”
If shoppers stop into at least three City of Hancock downtown businesses this weekend, they can enter to win a $500 gift card in the “Shop 3 Challenge” contest. According to Gast, “get your punch card for the “Shop 3 Challenge” at City Hall or participating retailers and restaurants for a chance to win a $500 gift card from the Michigan Retailers Association.”
