HOUGHTON – The same day thousands of blaze orange-clad hunters will take to the Upper Peninsula woods in search of a prize white tail deer, hundreds will flock to the Copper Country Mall for the Daily Mining Gazette’s Annual Deer Hunters Widows Craft Show. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, the Copper Country Mall will be alive with 85 vendors offering, Christmas decorations, made made clothing and accessories, woodwork and other crafty creations and plenty of sweet treats. including Baked goods, jams & jellies, candy and more.

Since 2013, holiday shoppers have gathered at the mall to start their holiday shopping. “It’s really a great way to usher in the holiday season,” said Yvonne Robillard, Daily Mining Gazette General Manager & Advertising Director. In addition to time-tested favorites, Robillard said at least 13 vendors are at the show for the first time. “Hundreds and hundreds of people come to the mall each year to check out the deals and amazing gift ideas that can be found at this very popular craft show,” she said.

Robillard added “There’s a great selection of homemade gifts and it’s a perfect way to start your holiday shopping.”
