Body of missing Gwinn man found

GWINN — A Gwinn man missing for several days has been found deceased in a rural area of Forsyth Township.
Jamie Willis, 46, was last seen at his residence on Maple Hill Drive, in Gwinn, at around 10 p.m. Monday, according to the Forsyth Township Police Department, the agency that handled the investigation. His family reported him missing and a large-scale search took place thereafter.
On Wednesday, law enforcement officers, assisted by several members of the community, located Willis’ 2014 dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee on a two-track road near Seass Drive in Forsyth Township. During a subsequent search that area, Willis’ body was found about 100 yards from his vehicle. Foul play is not suspected
In addition to members of the community, Forsyth police were assisted by the FTPD K-9 “Zeke,” the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office and Forsyth Township Fire and EMS.
