ONTONAGON — Three men were arrested Thursday on drug charges out of Ontonagon County. According to a press release from Ontonagon County Undersheriff Dale Rantala, the arrests stemmed from a traffic stop in Stannard Townhsip. Deputies arrested two men, ages 54 and 62 on charges of possession of methamphetamine while a third male, age 47, was arrested on an FOC (Friend of Court) warrant from a neighboring county.

Assisting the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office were Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UOPSEST). The two males are currently lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail. Rantals said in the release that no other information will be released at this time.
