The 48th Annual Maawanji'iding powwow, held at the Ojibwa Campground and Recreation Area, in Baraga attracted participants from across the U.S. and Canada, as well as thousands of spectators from across the region. The Maawanji'iding is the largest traditional powwow in the Midwest.
There was a special dance dedicated to the tribal youth, who will one day become the adult dancers of tomorrow.
