Aspirus hosts public Safety event
IRON RIVER – Aspirus Iron River Hospital & Clinics invites community members to attend its next Wisdom & Wellness event, “Public Safety & Emergency Response Teams,” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (CDT) June 27 at the Aspirus Iron River Patio and Helipad.
This family-friendly, interactive event will highlight the critical role of local public safety and emergency response teams while providing an engaging opportunity for community members of all ages to learn, connect and explore.
As part of Aspirus Iron River’s ongoing Wisdom & Wellness series, this special summer session expands beyond traditional education to create a hands-on experience focused on safety, preparedness and community partnerships.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:
• Meet local first responders and emergency personnel
• Explore emergency vehicles and equipment up close
• Learn about safety practices and emergency preparedness
• Participate in interactive demonstrations and activities
• Engage with community partners who help keep the region safe
“This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together while recognizing the dedicated teams who respond in times of need,” said Bryan Harkness, VP/Chief Administrative Officer/Director of Nursing at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. “Through hands-on experiences and conversations, we hope to inspire awareness, appreciation and confidence in emergency preparedness for individuals and families alike.”
The Wisdom & Wellness series provides opportunities for community members to connect with trusted professionals, ask questions and gain practical knowledge that supports health, wellness and safety.
