Applications sought for local 4-H scholarship

HANCOCK — The Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H Program announced that it is accepting applications for the annual 4-H Senior Scholarship.
This annual $500 competitive scholarship is awarded to a High School Senior who has been involved in 4-H for a minimum of 3 years and has participated in Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H.
The scholarship is for educational plans beyond high school such as college, university, trade school, or apprenticing. Completed applications highlighting the value of 4-H in the applicant’s life are due by April 15, 2026 to the Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H Program Coordinator via email to kretsc11@msu.edu (preferred) or mail to MSU Extension Office; 1500 Birch Street, Hancock, MI 49930.
