HOUGHTON — The Upper Peninsula section of the American Chemical Society invites local high school students to participate in the upcoming U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad – Local Chemistry Olympiad Competition.

This event offers an engaging opportunity for high school students in the United States to test their chemistry knowledge, and be recognized with a certificate that they can include in their college portfolio. The Chemistry Olympiad will take place at 11 a.m. March 14 at Michigan Technological University. The event will also be held at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.
