Country legend coming to Crystal Falls

Lorrie Morgan coming July 10

CRYSTAL FALLS – One of country music’s most accomplished and enduring singers, Lorrie Morgan, will take the stage Friday, July 10 as Crystal Theatre’s 2026 Legend performer. The daughter of Grand Ole Opry star and country music royal George Morgan, Lorrie is often called “The Duchess of Country Music”. She made her Opry debut at age 13 and was inducted as a member of the prestigious group at the early age of 24.

This year, Morgan celebrates her 42nd Anniversary as an Opry member. Throughout her career, Lorrie has earned multiple CMA, ACM, and Grammy nominations, sold millions of records worldwide, and garnered widespread acclaim for her powerful voice, emotional depth, and commanding stage presence.

Morgan became the first woman in her generation to produce three consecutive platinum albums. Her string of hits, including “Five Minutes,” Something in Red,” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength,” remain staples of country Radio and live performances today. In addition to the Legend Concert, the 2026 eight-event “Gem of a Season” is waiting in the wings for Crystal Theatre patrons.

The Knockabouts, a Marquette-based trio returns to kick off the concert series Saturday, March 14 at 7 pm CDT, bringing traditional and original Celtic tunes as a prelude to St. Patrick’s Day.

In May, two pianists will present diverse repertoires on the theatre’s grand piano. Phillip Daniel, a talented pianist and composer whose musical scores have been featured in dance programs and numerous films, will perform on May 8. And, on May 23, Peter Bergin salutes Memorial Weekend with spirited Ragtime and patriotic tunes.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre comes to town June 8-13 with a free acting workshop for students in grades 1-12. After rehearsing for only four days “The Frog Prince” will be presented on June 12 and 13.

The Gem Season events continue after Lorrie Morgan’s Legend Concert with Mulebone on July 23. This dynamic duo gives traditional Roots & Blues a new twist with a host of unusual accompaniment.

On August 1, Rosie & the Rivets will perform an electrifying tribute to the early years of Rock ‘n Roll and give today’s music a retro-cool spin. On August 15, Jackie & Gary celebrate classic and original songs from the Folk Era of the ’60s and ’70s, “Singing the Good Old Songs Again.”

As summer wanes, “A Gem of a Season” continues into fall. Sixtiesmania returns to the theatre with a new show on September 18. Hailed as the most authentic tribute to the sensational sixties, the quintet spotlights music from the Beatles to the Beachboys.

The eight-event Gem Season ends on a comedic note October 2 as Andy Beningo, named among the 40 “up and coming” comedians in the country, and Des Mulrooney share the stage.

Tickets to the Lorrie Morgan Legend Performance require reserved seating. All tickets to individual shows and the eight-event Gem Season package are now on sale online at thecrystaltheatre.org or by phone at 906-875-3208.
