The Margaret Dittman Memorial Education Grant was established by her husband, Mr. Gene Dittman, to assist past and present graduates of Ewen-Trout Creek High School of good character and in financial need to continue their education. The Dittman’s recognized that the rising cost of higher education has made it more difficult for individuals of modest means to advance and complete their education. Through their generosity, this grant will be offered biannually.

The E-TC Community Education Committee congratulates the Ewen-Trout Creek School recipients receiving this unique grant opportunity: Tanner Driesenga, a 2015 graduate, Molly Niemi, a 2015 graduate, Taylor Niemi, a 2014 graduate, Drake Lindberg, a 2013 graduate.

The Ewen-Trout Creek Community Education Committee will be accepting applications, for the Fall semester, in August, 2017. Only completed applications postmarked by the deadline date will be considered. Another press release will be published in December. The grant will be awarded for the Fall 2017 semester only. The deadline for application will be announced. The number of grant recipients and the award amount will be determined by the grant review committee.
