Lake Linden – Hubbell schools to provide meals

Lake Linden – The Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools will be participating in the federal program to provide free breakfast and lunch meals to our students (age 18 and under) who are in need during the school closure, Mar. 16 through Apr. 5. The meals are free to all students.

Meals are for the week and must be pre-ordered. You may do so by completing a Google form or contacting the Food Service Department via email at drheault@lakelinden.k12.mi.us. You may also reach the LLHS Food Service Department by calling (906) 296-6211 (choose option #4 from the menu and then #5 for Food Service). Please leave a voicemail if you call. Our Food Service Supervisor will be placing supply orders based on the number of pre-ordered meals. Therefore, only those who have signed up by the deadlines will be guaranteed meals.

The form can be accessed on the schools’ website on the main page at: http://www.lakelinden.k12.mi.us/

Pre-ordered meals will be available for pick up between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on the following dates:

Thursday, Mar. 19 – Deadline to order is Wednesday, Mar. 18 by noon.

Thursday, Mar. 26 – Deadline to order is Wednesday, Mar. 18 by noon.

Thursday, Apr. 2 – Deadline to order is Wednesday, Mar. 25 by noon.

Please bring a box to transport the items if possible.

The pickup location will be the back door of the school lunch kitchen at the north end of the elementary building. If you are in need of help with food delivery or have any questions, please call or email.

Starting at $3.50/week.
