“Notable Women in Hancock History” by John Haeussler on Thursday, Apr. 30, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. John Haeussler’s postponed talk will be presented as a live-stream (via Zoom) with moderator Faith Morrison (riseUP, LWVCC). Mr. Haeussler will present stories and accompanying photos of a small sampling of prominent women, all one-time residents of Hancock, Michigan. Leaders in the arts, athletics, business, education, health care, municipal service, and more, their influence extends throughout the world. Moderated by Faith Morrison, member of riseUP and the League of Women Voters of the Copper Country, audience participation is encouraged via Zoom chat. A video of the presentation will be posted on the Carnegie Museum website shortly after the live event.
