The Rice Memorial Clinic Foundation Board unanimously approved additional scholarships for previous award recipients. Thus, in addition to the eleven high school graduates listed above, ten previous Community Mental Health Careers Scholarship recipients, including one 2014 recipient, two 2016 recipients, three 2017 recipients, three 2018 recipients and one 2019 recipient.
Community Mental Health professionals provide a wide range of services to individuals and families in the community who are living with the challenges of mental and developmental disabilities. Careers with significant opportunities in community mental health include: occupational therapy, psychology, social work, speech/language pathology, physical therapy and nursing.
The Rice Memorial Clinic Foundation compliments all recipients of the scholarship on their achievements and wishes them continued success as they pursue their professional goals.
