“Art is…” Instagram outdoor scavenger hunt, hosted by CCCAC
HANCOCK — “Art is…” is an Instagram outdoor scavenger hunt hosted by the Copper Country Community Arts Center (CCCAC) in Hancock on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Get an art clue, take a photo of your answer, and post to Instagram. Early bird registration: Sept. 4 to Oct.1. Late bird registration: Oct. 2 through 8.
A list of 30 art activity clues will be distributed by email to the team captain on Friday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m.. In order to participate, one open Instagram account is required during the event. The event will be moderated through the Copper Country Community Instagram account @coppercountryarts. Teams of one to six people may begin posting photos on Instagram at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Submissions close at 5 p.m.. All participants will receive custom commemorative medallions, handmade in the CCCAC clay studio. Prizes awarded to the top three teams, on the basis of completion and creativity. This is a family-friendly event and team members can be located anywhere in the world.
“Art is…” is a CCCAC fundraiser. Register online Sept. 4 to October 1: $10 entry fee for a team of one or two people; $5 for each additional person, up to six people per team. Late registration, Oct. 2 through 8, add $10 per team.
