Election update from the City of Hancock

HANCOCK — Ballots for the Nov. 3 election were received Saturday, Sept. 26 at 10:30. Throughout the weekend the City Clerk, Ashley Freeman, worked on preparing the ballots to be mailed on Monday for all the voter’s that had submitted absentee voter applications. At this point we continue to send out additional ballots as the absentee voter applications are received in our office. Our goal is to mail ballots out within 24 hours of receiving the application.

A new drop box has been placed in front of City Hall for your convenience and accessibility to return the completed ballots or absentee voter applications.

Your patience is appreciated during this busy election season.

Please call City Hall (906-482-2720) with any questions.
