Bussiere added to the Hancock P.E. staff

HANCOCK — Hancock Central High School is excited to announce that Stacy Bussiere has recently been hired as their new physical education teacher. Bussiere brings with her 12 years of experience in the professional health and fitness field, including personal training and teaching fitness classes.

Bussiere says she has goals for her students that include taking what they learn in her classes and applying it to everyday life.

“I want to take the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to our students and teach them the importance of having a foundation of fitness and wellness that they can utilize now and long after they leave high school.”

A Copper Country native, Bussiere earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Health and Fitness from Northern Michigan University, and her Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Despite joining the Bulldog staff mid-school year, Bussiere said she feels that she is fitting in quickly.

“The staff and students have been so welcoming that I already feel like this is my new home.”

Bussiere started her new position at Hancock at the beginning of the second semester.
