Applications sought for local 4-H Senior Scholarship

The Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H Program is excited to announce that they are accepting applications for the annual 4-H Senior Scholarship. This annual $500 competitive scholarship is awarded to a high school senior who has been involved in 4-H for a minimum of three years and lives in Houghton or Keweenaw Counties. The scholarship is for educational plans beyond high school such as college, university, military, trade school, or apprenticing.

The scholarship will be awarded in the month of May or June at a school or homeschool celebration. Completed applications highlighting the value of 4-H in the applicant’s life are due by May 1 to the Houghton-Keweenaw County 4-H Program Coordinator via email to kretsc11@msu.edu (preferred) or mail to MSU Extension Office; 1500 Birch Street, Hancock, MI 49930.
